NCS have been very active of late in the industrial and manufacturing sectors around the north of England and into Scotland. Since our inception in 2002, we have been undertaking projects in these sectors from £250,000 up to £8.5m.
Our latest contract in Yorkshire has seen NCS undertaking civil engineering works to facilitate the installation of a new Heat Recovery Plant at the Guardian Industries factory in Goole. The plant will take hot waste gases and convert them into power for use in the manufacturing process. NCS’ scope of work included bulk earthworks, access road, foundations, tanks, gantries, shelters, drainage diversions, service connections, pumping mains and hardstandings
A summary of other recent industrial projects includes :
- In South West Scotland, we have recently undertaken an extension to a fabrication building and workshop alterations including installing a mezzanine floor for an existing manufacturing sector client.
- In County Durham, we are undertaking a major warehouse and production facility extension for a food packaging client.
- In Tyne & Wear, we have undertaken a major complex reinforced concrete structure, 8m deep within in an existing factory for the installation of a new press for the automotive sector.
